ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
With the increasing awareness of the effects of urban development on the environment an in-depth review of the potential environmental impacts and subsequent mitigation alternatives is often required prior to approval for construction. Corush Sunderland Wright has participated in many multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the proposed construction is appropriate.

Each distinctive study commences with the identification of major issues affecting the project. Typically the site and its adjacent context is examined with respect to land uses, urban development, pedestrian movements, recreational uses, natural features, visual impacts, viewshed, safety and security. Potential effects and mitigation requirements of the proposed work are then carefully examined and integrated into the work of the design team to provide a comprehensive solution. During the final master planning phase, our skill as landscape architects strengthens the overall design

Essential to the study process is public consultation. Our ability to graphically display complex engineering and landscape design issues, clearly in illustrated panels, is critical to public meeting success. This facilitates discussion with the various communities and assists in the identification of their concerns and preferences.
